Our coverage, and a page for every county and city
See how much of each state Front Door has checked, find your county, city or ZIP code, and open a page with the offices near you.
Front Door reads official websites for every county and, so far, more than 11,000 cities and towns. Until now you could only reach those offices by asking. Now each place has its own page, and one page shows how far we have come.
- Our coverage, at /coverage, shows the counts from our latest check, rounded down, and a map of the states. Darker states have more of their counties and cities checked, and the key says so in words. Tap a state to see its counties and cities checked, the offices we found and the date we last checked.
- Find your place takes a state, county, city or ZIP code and opens that place’s page. If a name fits more than one state, like Portland, it asks which one.
- Every county and city has a page with the local offices we found: phone, address, what each office helps with, where we found it and when we checked. A city page also lists its county’s offices. Hours show only when the office gave them to us.
- Each page links the state’s programs by kind of help, federal help anyone can use, and 211. “Ask about” opens the conversation for that state, with the place already filled in.
- “Don’t see your city, county, state or region? Tell us” sends a note to the Front Door team with the place.
- Our coverage is in the menu and the footer, under About.
